National Brothers' Week and Other March Celebrations

To our surprise, we learned, via Facebook, that there's a National Brothers Week in March, and that we missed it.

To be honest, we had never heard of a week devoted to honoring brothers, but after doing some research, we discovered that Brothers do have their own week. In fact, sisters get a week of their own in March, too, March 25-31.

After just a few minutes Googling, you'll discover that March is filled with weeks that celebrate various causes. There's our personal favorites - National Bubble Gum Week and the American Chocolate Week, followed closely by Root Canal Awareness Week.

March is also the month, according to Google, that we are to celebrate Newspapers in Our Schools Week, National Crochet Week, National School Breakfast WeekSleep Awareness WeekConsumer Protection WeekPoison Prevention Week, and Flood Safety Awareness Week.

So much to celebrate. Now off we go to Walmart to stock up on party favors, Lysol, Pledge and Swiffer Sweepers. After all, it's almost party time. National Cleaning Week is just around the corner.

P.S. Sorry brother Bill. D&B missed Brothers Week. We'll make it up next year!
